Time to reveal my purpose here at the Ethics Box

Workers have no voice in the process of globalization and free trade
In the last U.S. presidential race, a common person got the chance to ask a presidential candidate a question extemporaneously and it made " Joe the Plumber " an instant celebrity.
He confronted Obama about taxes and their effect on small business .
Now it is the time for all to imitate his example. Lech Walesa , leader in the Solidarity movement in Poland, rose to the top office in Poland from the ranks of the comman man.
He says, I do not know that much about business and economics but I do know something is very wrong when ten percent of the population controls 100 percent of the wealth.
My objective at The Ethics Box, is to have more Lech Walesas to stand up for the common good.
The best way to do this is to foster self-confidence and have people standing up and expressing what is wrong from the realities of the streets and not from some place high above the ranks or from some talking head in the media.
An attactive personality is a must for leadership from the ranks.
Sensitivity is needed in this process. We need people to stand up and talk with common sense thinking about the needs of others and correcting, improving, supporting, spreading and moving others to do the same.
The only lasting thing is lasting values and that is why we got into the spiritual part of life in our past posts. Common sense truth, justice, love and freedomr in the world needs to be tapped inside and outside our own box of life.
A leader must be able to communicate his or hers ideas to others. He or she must be able to convince and stimulate others into action.
First a leader needs to listen. This probably may be the most important part of all. A leader needs a "listening ear". One way to access people's needs and thoughts and feelings is to listen attentively and critically.
The clear headed, logical thinker is able to reduce seemingly formidable problems areas to small, manageable problems which can be tackled with reasonable assurance of success. He is able to see through the illogic of fuzzy thinkers.
A leader needs to think creatively - Lech Walesa led with his ideals more than with his knowlege of things. A leader needs to form basic ideals and let everything flow from these ideals. A leader needs to be open minded, flexible and original.
A leader can always use his own history to relate to problems. The ability to store information in your mind so as to recall it as needed , is closely associated with your ability to think objectively without a self serving hold on your efforts.
It is time to raise a new Solidarity where worker and labor lead the way. Adam Smith held labor as something sacred and the core of all society. Somehow , those on top have made workers a second class not being able to think for themselves. We have found out what happens when we let elite groupings run the show. Globalization and free trade has been driven by powerful elite forces outside the will of the people .
It has caused a global crisis and the very people that have caused it are now trying to fix it. It will not work. Only value added economies in local geopolitical settings work. Workers know about this basic element - we now need to work from the bottom up and not from the top down.
