New World Order is no longer just a conspiracy theory. President Obama sets the stage for its completion in the G20 agreements
What can you do about it.
President Obama leaped over the common good in Europe with many in major media channels relating his efforts in the G 20 meetings as the establishment of a The New World Order. It is no longer something with just a connotation of a conspiracy theory.
The term trans-national was used in the past to describe corporations who transcended national borders. Now it takes on a new meaning which affects the control of money and work. The U.S. Federal Government is now an agent for distributing wealth throughout the world where individual nations sovereignty becomes less relative. President Obama has leaped over the needs of individual workers with the financial community being his the major priority. He set the stage for centralization.
Centralization dictates. Decentralized societies have to step aside or be neutralized.
Workers who have no voice in the process will now even have less.
Philosophies that regard the freedom of human dignity for each person as a foundation of societies must adapt to a world consciousness.
We have faith that none of this will work.
In any concept of self-improvement, we have to find ways to counter act this.
A few years ago, I drove on a major highway for about twenty miles that had continous shopping malls. The highway was near a decimated industrial city . I turned off the highway at several places to see what was happening to the people and the land. I found many who were into all kinds of self subsistent endeavors. Apparently the retail clerks were finding ways to exist off the land. It is no longer possible to consider yourself as only an employee especially when seeking a job. We must also consider ourselves as a center of commerce where we can make things happen on our own. We must seek more ways to barter and trade on local levels. This has to be our response to the New World Order which is really the New World of Disorder. We need to find ways to rely on the fruits of our own labor in new distributive communities separate from this New World Order. We need to form associations of common interests in local envirnoments. Commerce between local people should be the priority now. We need to encourage small family farming, rural and urban land trusts, worker ownership and management of small factories, homesteading projects, food , housing in cooperative ways. Money has to be considered just a means of exchange and not a product all its own. Workers can no longer be classified according to some class related to technology or education. Manual labor was be highly respected.
The Catholic Workers have called for this kind of society for many years. Henry Kissenger
said that the current crisis sets the stage for the New World Order with President Obama fit for the task in this setting.
Kissenger seems to forget that the crisis could also mean a return to the solid fundamentals of our past and what the fathers of our Consitutions proclaimed. For every radical strong action, a natural response flows. It does not flow from the top down. It flows from the bottom up. President Obama can do all he wants from this mountain top of government but since he dismisses helping workers directly, he will fail. And workers will find a way through the maze.
The Confessions of an Economic Hit Man by John Perkins also takes on a fuller meaning during these times. It is a must read.
