Occupy Wall Street defines itself
Occupy Wall Street Protests goals calls for Bottom-Up solutions - emphasizing all decisions should be made at the lowest level possible.

For example if free trade agreements had to be ratified by a popular vote, most likely none of these agreements would have passed. Free trade is the major cause behind our economic mess.
About a week ago, more than 40 Occupy Wall Street activists came together to define what the movement is all about.
The group agreed on these first principles:
They want a truly free, democratic, and just society where people come together and solve our problems by consensus.
Where people are encouraged to take personal and collective responsibility in seeking the life ideal.
Where people participate in decision making and live in harmony embracing principles of toleration and respect for diversity and the differing views of others.
Where people can secure the civil right and human right of all from the violation of tyrannical forces and unjust governments.
Where political and economic institutions work to benefit all and not just the privileged few.
Where all can enjoy a free education, not just for the sake of a good job, bu to grow and flourish as human beings in seeking an ideal life for all.
Where we value human needs over monetary gain to ensure decent standards of living without which an effective democracy is impossible.
Where people work together to protect the global environment in order to insure future generations will have safe and clean air, water and food supplies where all will be able to enjoy the beauty and bounty of nature that past generations have enjoyed.
As one who supports the Occupy Wall Street movement as a Populist Conservative, I point to free trade as the culprit in all the inequities cited above. My article - Can not leave free trade out of the Wall Street Protest now has many references on the worldwide web. Search under the this title or see Free Trade Cancer
Just think how much the earth is being polluted by dirty factories and long haul ocean, air, rail and truck shipping. Just image how much local added value is lost when economies are fragmented in all parts of the world.
The lowest common denominator is down to a level of wage slave and even child labor. Who said we had to compete like this with one another for the same jobs as economic gladiators in an global economic arena.
